Would you like to be a Castaways' Member?

We're a Leather/Levi Social Club that's been part of the Milwaukee Scene for the past 30 years. We've seen the beginnings of just a few gay bars hidden and located around town to now over 25 specific bars that serve a well diverse crowd here in Milwaukee.

In 1979, one of our founders, Bob P., founded the Castaways MC as a way to meet and get together with others interested in the Leather/Levi culture. Since the beginning of our chapter, we've adopted a "service attitude" of giving back to the community that we live in and thrive in. You will see us at Pridefest and at our Club Events supporting our club and charities.

The Full Membership is usually sought by people living in the Milwaukee Metro Area. As a member, you are committing yourself to attending our monthly meetings, our monthly Club Events, Pridefest weekend, and our annual Joint Run weekend with the Argonauts of Wisconsin in August.

We believe in having FUN. Even when we're working a Club Event, or Charity. It's all about HAVING FUN.

New recruits are asked to fulfill a six month probationary period. Before you have to make a decision, we want you to see what we're all about and we want to see if you're really happy with what the Castaways have to offer.

After your probationary period, Pledgeship, you are voted in and eligible to vote once voted into our club. We recommended after a year's commitment, we do extend an invitation for you to run as any of our offices, and you can become the President, or Vice President, Treasurer, etc.

We have a Road Captain whose job is to help you fit in, assist you at meetings and events, and for you to be a liaison to the club and the club's expectations.

Our meetings are held every month on the last Sunday except August because we have our Joint Run with the Argonauts in Hilbert, Wisconsin. If there is a holiday, etc., on the last Sunday, then the meeting is usually moved to the Following Sunday.

The Associate Membership are usually for those people who are not living within the Milwaukee Metro Area, but who would like to support the Castaways MC of Milwaukee. You'll be informed and given an Run Application every year. And there is only an one time Associate Membership fee of $25. If you like an Associate Membership Application, just email us or write to us. See "Contact Us" Page. Once we received your Associate Application and fee, the Full Members will vote you in as an Associate, and you'll be put on our Associate List. Then, we'll send your Associate Patch to you; so you can represent the Castaways MC of Milwaukee in your area.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL ASSOCIATES ARE RESPONSIBLE UPDATING THEIR CURRENT ADDRESS WITH US. THIS WILL HELP REDUCE RETURNED MAIL AND GET YOU A COPY OF THE RUN APPLICATIONS, ETC.

Our Social Club would like to introduce you to the different organizations that will help you explore all that there is in the Midwest.

The Castaways MC of Milwaukee was established in 1979. The founder of this club is still an active member and officer. For over 30 years this social club has been part of the Milwaukee scene and making a difference in the lives of it's members and those we serve.

Milwaukee is fortunate to have such a diverse brotherhood and sisterhood with a LBGT and LBGT-friendly population. The Castaways MC take pride in the fact that events and changes that have taken place in the last 3 decades.

As a Social Club, we enjoy all of Milwaukee's many benefits. As a service organization, we work with events that allow us to donate to agencies such as: Heartland, ARCW, The Cancer Society, and several other charities in Milwaukee. We're an active presence at Pridefest Weekend and we're looking to be an active presence in the next three decades to come.
